Welcome to My Personal Page
Please support me as I fundraise to save the animals!
On May 20, Griffin (my dog), a few friends and I will be walking as part of The Humane Society of Huron Valley's annual Walk & Wag. I am fundraising to support homeless, injured and abused animals.
I never had a pet as a child but I've always loved animals. When I was little, I cried when I witnessed animals injured on tv (actually, this is still true today). When I was about 12 years old, I subscribed to a magazine called Dog Fancy and hung up pictures of dogs, from the magazine, in my room. Then, 4 years ago, we rescued Griffin. I can't even explain the love and joy that Griffin has brought into our lives. I am so thankful that he came into our lives - we may have rescued him but he also rescued us.
Today, I volunteer at the Humane Society. I want to do whatever I can to not only help provide animals with food, shelter and a loving home. But I also want to bring the same joy I experience with Griffin, to other families.
Do you believe in saving animals from cruelty? In giving an injured dog lifesaving medical care? In caring round-the-clock for a litter of abandoned kittens? The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is there for the community's animals when they need help the most. As a no-kill shelter, HSHV has no time limits for animals; even if it takes months or years of training, medical care and TLC, they'll stick with an animal until they find just the right home. And it's all because of supporters like us. They need our help!
Please know your tax-deductible donation will be used wisely. HSHV is in the top 3% of nonprofits ranked by Charity Navigator, thanks to their fiscal prudence, accountability and transparency.
Read more about HSHV and what your donation does at www.hshv.org/aboutus.
Thank you for your help!
