Welcome to my Walk and Wag Fundraiser Page!
Please Help Me Save Animals!
Exciting news - I'm fundraising for Walk & Wag and Run! Please donate to my page to help me reach my goal to help animals.
My name is Megan Kowalski. I am a junior volunteer at HSHV. I started volunteering since my mom volunteered. I had always loved animals, and I want to be a zoologist when I grow up. I go to HSHV every weekend that I can. I usually sit with the dogs, but I also am a small mammal volunteer. HSHV is really fun for me, and I love meeting all different kinds of dogs every week. I just started fundraising about 14 days before Walk and Wag. I had not known about fundraising before. My goal is to get to $300. Since I love the animals there, I want to help more animals around the world. So please help me reach my goal! I would also like to say how AMAZING everyone is for donating, or even fundraising. I tried to go to every house in my neighborhood, but some people weren't home. But, thank you for your generosity. I was scared that someone would yell at me but everyone was so nice, thank you:) Have a great day, and know when you donate you are saving a life!
Your donation does so much. Like feed orphaned kittens. Save puppies who were dumped and left in a box. Provide food, toys and a warm blanket to an animal waiting for a forever home. The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) does all this and so much more -- they're dedicated to saving the lives and reducing the suffering of homeless and abused animals. And as a "no kill" facility, HSHV is recognized for innovative best practices and having the highest animal "save rate" among all similar shelters in Michigan. But they can't do it without funds. They can't do it without our help!
Please know your tax-deductible donation will be used wisely. HSHV is in the top 5% of nonprofits ranked by Charity Navigator, thanks to their fiscal prudence, accountability and transparency.

Thank you for your generosity!
