Help me raise funds for the HSHV Foster Program!!
Hi Everyone, I'm fundraising for the 2018 Walk & Wag and Run! Please donate to my page to help me reach my goal to help animals.
I've been fostering since 2009 and have had 35 different dogs through my household during that time!! Each of those dogs got a chance to learn how to be a dog and experience some love as they were waiting for their forever homes. Dogs come to foster as they recover from surgery or when they need a break from the shelter or because they just don't do well with all the excitement of people and other dogs at the shelter. Roxanne, who is in the picture above, was with me for over 16 months until she found an AMAZING wonderful family who loves and adores her. Roxanne came to foster with anxiety issues and multiple allergies... and, oh, she could easily scale a 6 foot fence!!!!!
Fostering is one of the many reasons why the The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is so successful! They are dedicated to saving the lives and reducing the suffering of homeless and abused animals in our community. And as a "no kill" facility, they will keep and support any animal, as long as it is healthy and adoptable!! That's why Roxie was able to be in foster for 16 months!! HSHV is recognized for innovative best practices and having the highest animal "save rate" among all similar shelters in Michigan.
But they can't do it without funds. They can't do it without our help! Your donation does so much.
Please know your tax-deductible donation will be used wisely. HSHV is in the top 5% of nonprofits ranked by Charity Navigator, thanks to their fiscal prudence, accountability and transparency.

Thank you for your generosity!
