Thank you for your interest in volunteering at HSHV!
Our volunteers are our most important asset. The work they do for our animals, shelter, and our programs are invaluable. Each and every day, a volunteer helps to improve the life of an animal here at HSHV. Our volunteers help over 10,000 animals a year through shelter cleaning, administrative support, foster care, dog walking, cat comforting, and many other opportunities.

Day of Service VolunteeringSometimes a group of people want help out at HSHV for just a few hours. Our "Day of Service" was designed to accommodate families, students, companies, church/temple groups, and other groups to help with projects on a Saturday at the shelter. |

Foster Care VolunteeringCan you provide loving, in-home foster care for animals in need? Our foster families are invaluable and provide much appreciated tender loving care. |
