HSHV offers affordable training for dogs at every level. Our classes use positive reinforcement to teach dogs how to problem solve and make good decisions on their own. They promote positive, trusting relationships and effective communication practices between you and your canine pal.
Below is a schedule of current classes offered at HSHV. Please click on the course/class name to register for that class.
Please read about each class before your register. Refunds can only be given up to 7 days prior to the start of the class. To see full details about each class, visit our class criteria and description page.

NOTE: Please review the class criteria and information. Refunds can only be given up to 7 days prior to the start of the class and are at the discretion of HSHV. If you have any questions or doubts about which class is right for you and your dog, please contact the appropriate trainer. If your dog has to be removed from class due to aggression, we are not able to offer refunds. For those dogs, see Reactive Rover.
PLEASE NOTE: After June 1, 2014, HSHV will no longer be able to offer a puppy socialization meet-up class.
HSHV believes that socializing puppies if extremely important and will help them become better adjusted dogs. We had hoped that we could continue to offer a puppy play group but unfortunately we have other programs that we need to share our space resources with. We kept having room conflicts. We are also extremely busy during the summer months and staff have been pulled in other directions to help care for the animals in our care. We will let you know if we are able to bring back a puppy socialization class but in the meantime we encourage people to seek out other opportunities for this type of interaction. Thank you and we’re sorry for the inconvenience.
