Buffy the Vampire Slayer joins ZuZu  Buffy the Vampire Slayer joins ZuZu Buttercup becomes Buffy and joins another HSHV alumna, ZuZu Buffy the Vampire Slayer joined us and ZuZu in May. ZuZu (Happy Tails, March 31, 2012) lost her BFF Joy to aggressive cancer last summer; it was time for a new friend. Buffy had been going by the name Buttercup of late, and although we think that's a cute one, it seemed a bit yellow for this black and white tuxedo kitty. So we gave her back the name we learned she had originally come to HSHV with her first time through. Buffy is ten years young: lively, sociable, talkative, and playful. She thinks ZuZu is OK, ZuZu thinks she's pretty cool, but they aren't exactly snuggle buddies yet. We hope they'll be BFFs soon enough, but in the meantime, they love watching Cat TV (chipmunks, squirrels, our resident groundhog) together through our sliding glass door. |
