So Grateful  So Grateful Mr. Bates has a forever family We lost our beloved dog of 12 years early this spring. We weren't sure if we should try to find another puppy or not since we had been so blessed to have the "perfect" dog already. My husband and I decided to check out the humane society just to "look". As soon as we saw Mr. Bates (called Fred at the humane society) we knew he would be perfect for our family. We went home and brought the kids back to make sure things would work out. We have 10 children and one on the way so we needed a dog that would be very good with children. Mr. Bates has been perfect so far. He was house-trained the first week home and is attending obedience classes close to our home. He seems to be the star student. We've only heard him bark a few times over the past 7 weeks. He is gentle, kind, and loving. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to give this puppy a forever home. I've included a picture of our children that was taken a week ago. Thanks again! |
