The Rainbow Bridge has a wonderful companion now

Butch will be missed

I adopted Butch in 2007 when he was 10 years old. He’d just come into HSHV because his owners were worried about him around their grandchildren. It was June and really hot, so as a volunteer (mostly helping cats), I took him home to foster him, and within a couple days, I of course decided to keep him. He was very gentle and uninterested in my kitties. That was a big help. He was also well trained; seniors make great companions. In February 2013, Butch went to the rainbow bridge. He was almost 16. I hope he enjoyed his senior days at my house. He had dental resorption, a painful, chronic condition. I think he was always a little sore and unhappy, but I tried to make life comfortable for him.

Rest in peace, Butchie.
