Lila Loves Animals, Animals Love HSHV, HSHV Loves Lila!  Lila Thank you, Lila People normally have an answer ready for the question “What is your favorite animal?” Our friend Lila, however, may have a slightly different answer than most people do. Lila loves “any kind of animal” and we can tell that she means it. Lila was celebrating her birthday, but instead of having her friends gather around her and watch her open presents, they all brought her money. That doesn’t seem too uncommon, until you hear that she was raising money to give to the Humane Society of Huron Valley! She brought in a big wad of cash for us to spend on the animals, and we will make sure that it goes a long way. The money means a lot to us and the animals at HSHV, but the greatest gift Lila brought us was the gift of hope. When we meet kids like Lila we start to feel more confident that the earth and all its inhabitants will be in good hands once Lila and her generation become stewards of our tiny blue dot. Thank you Lila! |
