Sean Sees a Solution

Sean likes to help animals

When most of us think of what we want for our birthdays we think of cool electronic gizmos and fun toys to play with.  Sean thinks a little bit differently than most kids though.  When Sean started thinking about his birthday, he decided that instead of getting toys for himself he would have his friends and family bring things for the animals at HSHV.  He almost buried our donation bin with all the great stuff he gathered!  They brought us dog and cat food, dog treats, dog toys, and horse food!  When we asked Sean why he wanted to be so generous, his answer was simple.  He said, “I love animals”.

Those of us at HSHV hear people say that all the time, but not everyone is willing to sacrifice something they want to help out.  Sean knows that we need to pair our words with actions, and he did just that.  We’re lucky to have kind kids like Sean in our community!  Thanks Sean!
