Mateo Does It Again!  Another Birthday Party in Support of the Animals Mateo can’t help himself; he just keeps throwing birthday parties to help the animals at HSHV. When Mateo came in to bring his donations in I wouldn’t be surprised if our staff greeted him by name since this is his fourth time donating to HSHV! When Mateo turned seven he asked all of his friends to join him at the Natural History Museum in Ann Arbor. They brought food, toys, blankets, and of course money! When we asked Mateo why he decided to donate to HSHV, his response was simple. He only wanted to “help the animals”. We’re lucky to have kind kids like Mateo to not only organize events like his birthday, but to be a role model for other children in our community. |
