Self-Employed and Self-Empowered Kid Does Great Work

Mackenzie has a dog walking business

Who hasn’t thought of running their own business at some point?  You have the freedom to work when you want to and you can make your own rules.  Most people feel daunted by the responsibility even though there can be great rewards.  Well, Mackenzie took the initiative to start her own dog walking service, but instead of rewarding herself with the proceeds she donated them to HSHV!  That is pretty selfless for anyone to do, but especially for a young person.  Mackenzie also went door to door collecting donations for us.  Mackenzie wanted to give back to HSHV because she loves animals and she comes to visit us two times a month.  It seems we are both really satisfied with this business relationship.  Don’t forget us Mackenzie when you are a super wealthy business owner in the future!  Thank you for all the money, as well as all of the food, toys, and cat litter you brought us.  Go Mackenzie!
