Party Animals Party For Animals  Cicely, Reese, Joie, Ava, & Sophia It has been a long winter this year – Februrary and March have seemed extra grey and it can be hard to keep smiling when you’re afraid your nose is going to shiver off your face. It was another cold march day when we met Cicely, Reese, Joie, Ava, and Sophia, and by the time they left everyone at HSHV felt a lot better. You see, these kind kids just left from a birthday party held to benefit HSHV. This wasn’t a class assignment though, and no one was making them help the animals – their only inspiration was their love of animals and their steadfast desire to help! Who needs warm days when we have such heartwarming things happening each and every day at HSHV? We’re lucky to have friends like these five ladies. Thank you for the dog and cat food, the linens, the puppy pads, and everything else you brought us! |
