Boo - Our Barn Cat!  BooKitty Barn Cat finds his furrrever home! We moved into a new home and discovered we had a bit of a mouse problem. So what is the logical thing to do? Find a cat. HSHV has a wonderful program adopting out "barn" cats. They aren't feral, but they aren't exactly "people" cats. We adopted Boo and followed the instructions about keeping him confined for a period of time so he wouldn't take off. It has been a year now, our mouse problem has diminished, and the big black scaredy cat that used to run whenever someone got close now happily purrs to see us and demands attention. He is a cool cat, and we are so happy he is part of our family. |
