Penny War Raises Money for Pets!  Novi Meadows Community Schools PT Club The wonderful students in the Novi Meadows before/after school program had a very creative way of raising money for the homeless animals at HSHV! They worked together to have a penny war in which boys competed against girls. Each penny that was put into the jar was worth one point. However, each dollar or silver coin took away a teams point, which led to lots of sabotage (and more money raised!). Although the boys ended up winning, we think that the whole group is full of amazing kids and we are so thankful for their support! They were able to make a very generous donation and all of our animals will surely benefit from their help. Thank you so much to the students of Novi Meadows! |
