Lalalala- Lola  Lalalala- Lola A sweet pitbull who is very much loved! Lola came into our lives over a month ago. We went to the shelter looking for an older small dog and came out with a 5 month old rambunctious 40 lb pit bull...and have never been happier. She has taught us so much already especially about stereotypes and what it feels like to be on the receiving end of disappointed scowls and unwarranted comments about these specific dogs and their inherent viciousness. Fortunately for Lola, her little light shines on through and if given 5 minutes (after all the jumping and licking-- we're working on that!) she proves to people how wonderful pit bulls are. We are so proud of her smarts and her hard working personality. She is eager to please and picks up tricks and commands so quickly (except jumping...any suggestions?) that people cannot believe she is only 6 months old. I feel so blessed to wake up next to that little snoring brindle face every morning and to know she is a true ambassador for her breed. |
