Silent Auction of Kid's Art Makes A Big Bang! Kaeli's creativity helps the animals at HSHV Normally when animals are involved in auctions, it doesn't turn out well for them. However, when kids come together to auction their artwork to benefit the homeless animals in the community, everybody wins. Kaeli is a student at Summers Knoll School and one of her friends gave her the idea to hold a silent auction of student art to raise money for our animals. There must be some future Picassos in her class because they managed to raise over $500 for the animals at HSHV! We are so fortunate to have kids like Kaeli and her friends at Summers Knoll who have so generously given their time and artwork to help out the less fortunate. Maybe some of you kids out there can become inspiried by Kaeli, like she was by her friend. |
