Annie - beloved at home and at school  Annie - beloved at home and at school From HSHV to beloved classroom, Annie is the BEST! Just thought I'd send along a second update for Annie, a 9-year-old boxer that we adopted back in July. After making it through a bout of health issues (all the while wagging her tail and being as cheerful and friendly as always), Annie has settled in so beautifully at her new home. She loves her walks through the woods, sun baths in the yard, and hanging out with everyone she meets. She has such a calm and gentle personality that she is now an official member of the 6th grade class that I teach! Annie comes in to school twice a week, spending one day in my classroom and another day in a special education resource room! Her calm and loving demeanor is perfect for my kiddos, and they absolutely LOVE Annie back. She spends her days at school listening to students read, curling up next to children as they work on math projects, and enjoys student-led walks at recess. Even a few of my dog-adverse coworkers have commented on how much they enjoy Annie, as she is so relaxed, so friendly, and so well behaved. She is a wonderful addition to our family at home, and to an entire school community as well!
