We celebrate our amazing volunteers

We celebrated our wonderful volunteers, November 14^th at the Humane Society of Huron Valley Volunteer Appreciation Potluck.

Our volunteers perform a broad spectrum of vital roles for HSHV from administrative support, fostering animals in their own homes, and providing hands-on care and interaction with the animals at the shelter. Volunteers also serve as greeters, clinic administrative staff, adoption counselors, and assist at special events and educational programs. This helps us maintain high standards of care for the animal residents as well as enhance the experience of adopters and visitors who come to the shelter.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our dedicated volunteers who collectively have donated 52,101 hours so far this year to help us achieve our mission of improving the lives of animals in our community. We could not do it without their generosity and commitment.

This video is a small way that we can say thank you, but the labor of love from our volunteers never ceases to inspire us. We sincerely thank you.
