The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and HSHV team up for "Carnival of the Animals" Don't miss this family-friendly concert on Sun., Nov. 4th The AASO is presenting “Carnival of the Animals” as part of their family concert series. Sunday, November 4 The Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor Classical music is fun and not just for grown-ups! Bring the whole family to this animal-themed concert featuring Saint-Saens’ classic Carnival of the Animals and Raccoon Tune, by Josh Penman. Penman’s music is set to Ann Arbor children’s author Nancy Shaw’s Michigan Book of the Year – Raccoon Tune. HSHV will be on hand for the pre-concert activities which will include an instrument petting zoo where kids can have hands on instruction with musical instruments. HSHV will have one of our adoptable dogs to meet and greet all the guests and will also pass out information on all of the youth focused programs now available at HSHV. The Bernard L. Maas Foundation sponsor the entire AASO family concert series and “Carnival of the Animals Story Time Family Concert” is sponsored by Toyota.
