Hank makes for a Happy Home!  Hank He is the perfect fit for our family. On Sunday, we came to HSHV with the purpose of adopting a dog for our family, mainly for our 8-year-old son. After months of looking at MANY pictures of dogs, reading up on dog care, and prepping our home, we were ready to make the first step of actually meeting some dogs. We walked through all of the dogs, allowing our son to really take the lead. He stopped at Hansen, now known as Hank. We requested to walk him. It was a love connection! With tears of joy, he exclaimed, “I love him, mom, I do not want to look at any others!” As they say. the rest is history—all two days of it! Hank has turned out to be a perfect fit for our family. He gets along well with everyone—walks well, listens well, is very relaxed and chill—yet playful! He is enjoying walks through the neighborhood and Maybury. He is enjoying other dogs within our extended family, and running in Grandma’s backyard! Hank has made an 8-year-old boy one of the happiest! Mom and Dad have breathed a huge sigh of relief! Every concern that anyone had based on his intake—I can reassure you, so far, he has defied every one of them—he is relaxed and going well with the flow!! Thank you to everyone who helped us through the process—it was pleasurable! We were all exhausted at the end of the day—a lot of emotions! |
