Rescue Waggin' Puppy
About 4 months ago my boyfriend and I adopted Lanette who we renamed Remi. Remi came to the Humane Society of Huron Valley via the Rescue Waggin' all the way from Arkansas! She was one of five puppies in her litter that were about 2 1/2 months old. They originally said she was a Chihuahuah Daschund mix, which we do not think she has either breed in her, but she looks really cool! : )
The first couple of weeks with Remi were pretty difficult, getting her use to her new home and mostly her crate (which she hated!) Now 4 months later she is alright with going in her crate and seems to be a happy pup.
We were nervous about how she would react to new people and animals since we didn't really know where she had come from, but this was no problem at all! She loves all people and dogs, and would probably stay at the dog park all day if we let her. We are really excited to see how she reacts to the snow this winter!
We thank the Humane Society and the Rescue Waggin' so much for saving our Remi, and helping her find her furever home with us.
