Tale of two Sisters from another Mother

Being an active family of four we knew we needed to find animals that would fit in to our household. We found Squirrel first (Maya) at the shelter. She was in the kitten room with her brothers and sisters. As soon as we walked in she grabbed onto my purse strap and wouldn't let go. We figured she was a keeper. Mouse (Odessa) was next. She was in a cage all by herself. She was found in the backyard of a house all alone and brought to the shelter. Her eyes are what made me fall in love with her. She has the best personality too. Mouse was very quiet when we held her but she was very cuddly and loving. Both cats suit each other very well even though they are from different litters. We kept them separated the first week, only letting them see each other at meal time and the first day we let them play together you would have thought it was Christmas for them. They have been best buddies ever since.
