Older is Better  Older is Better I went to look for a "older" cat at the Humane Society of Huron Valley multiple times. I went to look for a "older" cat at the Humane Society of Huron Valley multiple times. The first time, I went home empty handed. I waited a few weeks and made my journey back with determination to find the cat that I am perfect for. I had the mind set that "older is better". Formely known as "Midnight" had been at the facility for multiple months and at the ripe old age of 9 was considered a bench warmer for the amount of time she had been there. I had somehow missed her the first time I had went. We adopted her the same day. By the first day, she was itching to explore her forever home. She plays like a 9 month old not a nine year old,is like clockwork with her feedings and lap time. "Belle" can never get enough pillow time....even with my hard to convince boyfriend :)....There is no better feeling than to go home to a loving animal that needs you. In my book the fact that she is "older" means nothing. she has many years of love and affection to give and receive. Thank you Humane Society of Huron Valley for finding us our new child. WE LOVE HER! |
