Pick Your Cat - Pick Your Price! You pick the adoption price for your adult cat
All cats, five months and older. You pick the price*! What is a cute cat worth to you? At the Humane Society of Huron Valley, finding a loving and caring home for our felines is priceless. That's why we let YOU decide the adoption fee. It costs HSHV about $35 a day to care for just one adult cat and because many stay at the shelter longer, the average cost to care for one adult cat from the time they enter our shelter until they are adopted is $600. The PRICE YOU PICK helps us cover the cost of their care. In addition to living in a clean, healthy shelter, your cat has also been socialized and given huge amounts of TLC by our volunteers and staff. Your new cat has also been spayed/neutered, given their initial vaccinations and they have been fitted with a microchip ID, which is all included in the price you pick to adopt your cat. Our friendly staff is ready to help you find your PURRFECT match. *Adopter must pay a minimum adoption fee of $30 to help offset some of the costs of the care HSHV has provided. |
