Important Information About the Adopt-a-Thon

HSHV will close at 3 pm on Friday, April 27th to prepare for Saturday's big event. We will also be closed on Sunday, April 29th.

If you are planning on visiting the Humane Society of Huron Valley this weekend there are a couple of things to remember:

1. HSHV will CLOSE at 3 pm on Friday to prepare for the Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, April 28^th (9 am to Midnight)
2. We do require a dog-to-dog interaction if you want to adopt a dog and already have dog(s) at home. If it is not convenient for you to visit and then return home to get your dog, please do bring them with you. The forecast is calling for mid 40s on Saturday so pets should be safe for a period of time in your vehicle with the windows cracked. Please do inform our staff that your dog is with you in the car and we will do our best to facilitate a timely interaction if you find a dog you wish to adopt. Thank you.
3. HSHV will be CLOSED on Sunday, April 29^th!
