Milo & Atticus  Milo & Atticus The crazy orange cat and the three-legged kitten! I adopted Milo (formerly Flash) in August 2010 and Atticus (formerly Spider Monkey!!!) in November 2011. Milo came to HSHV as a tiny 2 month old stray kitten with a horrible respiratory infection. And Atticus came to HSHV as a kitten who had been hit by a car and had to have his front leg amputated. Both kittens were nursed back to health by the amazing clinic and staff at HSHV!I adopted Milo as soon as I moved to Ann Arbor. Milo is one crazy orange cat with so much personality! He knows how to open drawers, cabinets, doors, etc. Milo has gotten into plenty of trouble and broken many glass objects, but I love him no matter what! He enjoys flushing the toilet in the wee hours of the morning (no pun intended!). Milo is my best buddy after a stressful day and is truly a lovely boy. As a volunteer at HSHV, I see the adoptable kitties all the time and wasn't intending to fall in love with a cute little three-legged kitten named Spider Monkey!!! (now Atticus). He seemed like such a tough cookie and one that could keep up with Milo, so I adopted him. Atticus and Milo are good buddies who like to tussle and play! I do find them sleeping together at times! Atticus gives me love nibbles and will balance himself on top of my side as I sleep at night. He chirps and purrs every time I pet him. He loves to play with toys and having only three legs doesn't slow him down a bit! Milo and Atticus are great companions and I can't imagine life without them. They keep me on my toes with all their antics! Milo has taught two HSHV foster dogs about cats (and their claws!) and Atticus enjoyed the company of the most recent pup. Milo and Atticus are two of the best cats in the world :) Thank you so much to everyone at HSHV for rescuing these two amazing kitties! They will both live long, happy, and so very spoiled lives with me!!! |
