Spring Adopt-a-thon - TOMORROW!

Schedule of Events Announced for Sat., April 28th

Humane Society of Huron Valley Presents - Spring Adopt-a-thon, April 28, 2012

Ann Arbor, MI.   The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is excited to announce our first ever Spring Adopt-a-thon to be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at HSHV.

HSHV will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight during this mega-adoption event.

"This time of the year is when our facility reaches capacity as kittens start entering in large quantities. In order to make room for all the other homeless pets that need shelter, we are hoping to find new forever homes for 150 pets in this one single day," said Deb Kern, HSHV Marketing Director. "Besides all of our animals, there will also be additional pets here from selected rescues looking for homes as well."

IMPORTANT: Since we anticipate being very busy on Saturday, we encourage you to fill out your dog and cat adoption surveys now and bring them in with you. As a thank you for filling out your adopter surveys, we've provided these valuable coupons that can be redeemed on Saturday as well. You must bring your survey with you to use the coupons.

We do require a dog-to-dog interaction if you want to adopt a dog an already have dog(s) at home. If it is not convenient for you to visit and then return home to get your dog, please do bring them with you. The forecast is calling for mid 40’s on Saturday so pets should be safe for a period of time with the windows cracked. Please do inform our staff that your dog is with you in the car and we will do our best to facilitate a timely interaction if you find a dog you’d wish to adopt. Thank you.
