Lily  Lily A day of volunteering turns into a new forever home for Lily. I've been volunteering for several years each spring at HSHV thru my works neighbors day program. My heart always went out to the animals that I would see and I wished they could all have a good home. I saw Lily in one of the play rooms last May. She was so timid and sweet that I just couldn't get her out of my mind. Not your typical Chihuahua at all. My heart went out to this little dog after spending some time with her and I wound up going back the following weekend and adopting her. It was one of the best things I have ever done. She is the happiest little dog and brings so much joy to our home. We take her camping with us and to family functions where she is the center of attention. She always wants to be with you and loves to lay in your lap or snuggle up close in bed. She loves to go for rides in the car. She is never lacking for love in our home. I hope everyone that comes to HSHV will find the right pet for them and give a good home to a deserving animal. |
