awesome friend, companion, lap-dog (at 58 pounds), and protector

My partner and I decided that we needed another puppy in our lives and a play mate for our Shih Tzu. We went to the Huron Humane Society and found the apple of our eye. He is a German Shepherd/Husky mix and was there with a few of his siblings. He was the first one that caught our eye, we spent some time with him fell in love. He was known to them, if I remember correctly, as Yogi. We brought him home as an 8 week old puppy and he looked like a little fluff ball of fur, one blue and one brown eye. He is now 4 years old and has been an awesome friend, companion, lap-dog (at 58 pounds), and protector. He doesn't come in until Chance, our Shih Tzu has come in. He is very smart and uses his good looks to get his way. He loves to have conversations with us and we do the home theatre karaoke together until Chance has had enough and attacks Niko. Everyday we are thankful we were able to bring him home and give him a home. He has a big yard to run in. He has learned how to play frisbee, pick up his stick when he drops it while playing fetch, and chasing squirrels is a favorite pass time. Thank you for all that you do at the Huron Humane Society to help find these animals loving homes. I'm thankful someone didn't want him, because he has made our lives so happy and rich by being in ours.
