Ernest and George  Ernest and George After working at HSHV for over a year as the shelter veterinarian's assistant, I acquired two kitties of my own, Ernest (formerly Irving Purrlin, white siamese mix) and George (orange tiger). Though I adopted them months apart, they've become the best of buddies. Currently, I'm in vet school at MSU, and they serve as a reminder of the friends I made at HSHV, and the amazing things they do in order to help our homeless pet population.
