Miley (previously Tasha)  Miley (previously Tasha) Adopted in November 2011 I adopted my first pit in November 2011, after visiting her many times during the month of October. The first time I saw her I fell in love with her, but it wasn't the right time for our family to bring her home. I had many dreams of her and felt very guilty about leaving her behind every time I visited her (usually weekly). I brought the family to see her a few times & they fell in love as well. Finally, the first weekend of November we visited & she again captured our hearts & we decided it was finally time to bring her home. She is the missing piece to our family. She has been nothing but absolutely wonderful. She's is the queen of our home and the best friend a girl could have. She has tremendously helped me with my depression issues & I could not ask for a better companion for my family. Thank you to all of the wonderful HSHV staff who took care of her and probably fell in love with her just like we did. She is doing fabulous & has even gained a few pounds! We are forever grateful. |
