Pandora

Adopted in January 2011

In January of 2011 My mom and I went to the shelter to look at the cats that were up for adoption. We didn't plan to go home that day with a pet but when we came across Pandora we absolutely fell in love with her.

We brought her home and she was very shy at first but after a couple of days she started to come out of her shell. She would follow me around the house all the time that we have nicknamed her "My Shadow"

Pandora is very picky when it comes to the toys she plays with. She has 3 glow in the dark balls, a duck filled with a little cat nip, and a wand toy. And if she doesn't see them she cries until they are all in a pile in the living room floor. She has claimed one of our blankets as her new bed. When u grab her bag of treats it doesn't matter if she is upstairs she comes running down the stairs at full speed for a tasty treat, you'd almost think she was a dog LOL! She is so playful, loves to wake me up at 2 or 3 am to play whether I like it or not, and loves to cuddle up at night and keep my feet warm :)

Pandora is now 6 but she is still a kitten at heart. Everyday I am grateful my family chose to adopt her. And I am hoping to soon adopt a "sibling" for Pandora to have around while my family and I are at work or school.
