Raider (formerly Zander) Adopted in October 2011 We adopted Zander this October 2011 and are happy parents of a gentle German Shepherd mix. He greets us when we come home, with a few barks to tell us about his day. Then he grabs a toy and races around the room. He is such a lovable pet, we are blessed! We visited Zander for 2 days and our daughter Alyson, (14) really liked him for his beautiful markings. Zander is a Black and Tan, German Shepherd mix. He likes our daughter now too. They are buddies and he follows her around the house where ever she goes. He wakes her in the morning with his squeaky toy, right after his breakfast. He doesn't quite understand weekends yet. We named him Raider, after Raiders of the Lost Ark. Her favorite movie, and Raider was lost. We couldn't ask for a nicer dog, so friendly and gentle. He even likes the other neighbor dogs. Raider is very happy in his furever home, and when we come home he greets us with a toy and barks about his day, cause he is so happy to see us. |
