Butterscotch (formerly Leela)  Butterscotch Adopted in September 2011 We adopted Butterscotch from the Humane Society in September of 2011. Her name was Leela when we brought her home but your children quickly changed her name. After going through, Butterball, and several other "Butter" names, we all settled on Butterscotch. Butterscotch is now about 4 1/2 months old and is a wonderful addition to our family. She travels everywhere with us, she was quickly potty trained after putting in a doggy door for her, she sleeps with our 2 1/2 year old most of the time and she loves to chase squirrels. She buries her bones in the bag yard; she literally digs a hole, puts the bones in and covers them with the dirt and spends some of her days (when she is not traveling, sleeping, or playing with the kids) guarding her buried treasures from the relentless squirrels. What a life. She is a great girl and we are so glad we brought her home. |
