Lester  Lester Adopted in August 2011 We brought Lester home on August 17, and in the last two months he has proved to be a little gentleman. He gets along great with our cats, allowing them to snuggle up against him on my lap, and has even shared his crate with the youngest a time or two. He likes to putter around the yard like a little old man and tries to make us go to bed every night at 9:30, but otherwise you wouldn't know he is already 8 years old. He's got good energy on walks, is gradually learning how to play more, and we are thinking of getting him a little brother or sister to round out the family. You never know what kind of baggage you'll get when adopting an older dog, but we feel very lucky to have found Lester. He is such a sweetheart and completely charms anyone who meets him, and it hasn't taken long at all for us to adjust to each other. We love him dearly, and he seems happy, confident, and glad to finally be home. |
