Daisy  Daisy's progress Adopted in August 2011 Daisy continues her happy retirement with her new siblings & home. In the first photo supplied in August after she had just arrived, she can be seen with her older sister, Pepper, who had been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Pepper had been adopted 14 years ago as "Bonny" from the Huron Valley and had lived a good life. Sadly she was euthanized on September 19, 2011 as was anticipated and one of the reasons a spot had opened in my home for another dog which turned out to be Daisy Mae (we drop the Mae.) Daisy has adjusted quite well to her new life although housebreaking is still a minor issue but getting better. Here she is with her two remaining siblings; Curry, the Frenchie and Sugar, the American Eskimo. |
