Bud (formerly Edwardo)  Jenna and Bud Adopted in February 2011 The day I saw Bud (former name: Edwardo) at HSHV's website I knew he was the right dog for us. I told my parents but they said pit bulls are dangerous. I watched Bud at HSHV's website for 2 weeks and no one had adopted him. Then finally 2 weeks later we went to the adoption day at Petsmart and nothing was working out for us. After going to 4 locations without any luck of an adoption, I went home sad and lonely:( Then ~ I remembered Bud! I told my parents and my dad took me and my brother to go visit Bud at HSHV. We filled out an informational sheet in order to visit with the dogs. The employees were very nice. I was so happy we got to see him in person! But when we got there he seemed scared or not interested, so we looked at the other dogs. We went back to Bud and then it was like he was the missing part of our family! We took him into the "Meet and Greet" room and played with him for a while and we agreed he was the one - so we adopted Bud that day! Bud has been the addition to our family that we were missing. In so many ways Bud fit into our lifestyle without any concerns. Bud out shines any other dog we have had! He is smart and obedient and gentle and loving and versatile. Bud Loves to be with us and therefore Bud goes where we go! THANK YOU HSHV! P.S. Sorry for our delayed response we were on vacation.....with Bud of course! :) |
