Timmie  Timmie Timmie is a 6 year old grey and white tuxedo short haired mix. He has a habit of purring while he sleeps, if that gives you any indication of how sweet this guy is! He can also be pretty active and wouldn't mind finding a home where people are around a lot to give him lots of attention, and with whom he can share his gentle, sweet personality. He should be in a home where any kids are at least 10. He's what we call a "Diamond in the Ruff" a special kitty looking for a special adopter - you see the very affectionate Timmie came to the shelter with severely ulcerated foot pads due to an autoimmune inflammation of the feet. He has responded very well to treatment; however, this is a condition that can potentially recur throughout his life so his paw pads should be monitored for irritation regularly. He is out in one of our fantastic foster homes for the moment, getting even more TLC while he waits for the right person to find him. His foster Mom reports that he's a super affectionate guy and very sweet! She said "He's a beautiful affectionate boy with a lot of spunk. He is like an overgrown kitten, always wanting to know what I'm doing, following me around and chatting. He always loves to be touched; sometimes when I'm sitting next to him reading a book, he will pat at my hand to let me know he wants it on him. He is just one happy cat".
