Hello everyone, After 36 wks, my forever family finally came and took me home. It's been a slow 4 weeks, but I'm finally getting them trained. At first, I claimed the top of his dresser that's in front of the window, for my throne. They also put a really comfy bed on the top of the dresser for me to curl up in. Now, I have claimed most of the house. My life is now perfect except for the dog. Seriously! He has the strangest face and he is so invasive. Twice now he caught me just relaxing, snuck up behind me and well..... I have never had any one smell me. I heard them say he's a French Bulldog. All I know is that Harvey, smells weird, drools, and the noises it makes. Pleeeeaaaaase! Though, I just hiss and he leaves. Thanks to all my staff who made my stay "tolerable", making sure I had food, kind pets n scratches and a warm place to live. Oh, my close friends who put helpful comments online for her to read. Thumbs up, she brushes me, rubs my belly and oh course calls me a pretty girl. They know how a Diva should be treated. Life Is Good.

Every day she becomes more comforable with her surroundings. She "allows " us to pet her and is spending more n more time in our presence. She doesn't sit on our laps yet or rub against our legs but she n Harvey are still gaining confidence in each others presence. They now walk past each other. There is no doubt that she is the dominant one. Poor Harvey, he just wants to smell her, like he and his dog friends do. Thank you for all the resources and your continued care of her. Even an "unsociable" Tortie deserves to live and live in a home with a family who understands and accepts her moods and needs. Thank you so much, The Wakefield Family, except Harvey
