Ike  Ike Adopted in March 2009 We adopted Ike in March of 2009. He has become a very important part of our family. At the time we brought Ike home, we had four cats. My husband and I had both grown up with dogs but had never had our own. We just hoped and prayed that Ike would get along with the cats (he passed the cat test) and would settle in as part of our family. Right from the beginning he was a perfect addition. He not only respected the cats, but loved them like family. We recently lost one of our cats to mammary cancer and the entire time she was sick Ike was by her side. Ike is a pit bull/boxer mix and I can't imagine a more loving gentle animal. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to find him. I can't imagine our lives without Ike! |
