Uffda (formerly Puma)  Uffda Adopted in November 2010 Hey it's me -- Uffda! Some of you at HSHV knew me as Puma, and took wonderful care of me for the 3 months I stayed with you. I can't say I was thrilled about living in a cage, but I'll always remember you for all the attention you gave me. Now I have a forever-Mom and we are having a blast living together. She's playful like me. In fact, she even plays with my toys! She has a way of making them come to life which blows my mind! There are a lot of things here including some plants which are big enough for me to hide behind. I love surprising Mom as she walks past them. Sometimes she'll drop whatever she was doing and give me more playtime. Mom says she doesn't like doing housework so I make games out of such chores as making the bed or folding laundry. I become the "Fierce Predator" and she has to "rescue" innocent things from me. Sometimes I really want to sink my claws into something and give my arms a workout. There are these tower-like things in every room covered with burlap or sisal that are purrfect for this. Mom showed them to me when I first moved here by sinking her own nails into them, only she can't grip them the way I can. Do we ever sleep? Well yes. Sometimes I get to snooze in her lap.
