Roxy (formerly Lyric)  Roxy Adopted in November 2010 Since adopting Roxy (formally Lyric) on 11/20/10 from the Novi pet expo, it has been all smiles (as you can see from the photo). :) When deciding which dog would be perfect for our home, we picked her up and she just melted into my arms and nuzzled her head around my neck as if she would be content to never leave. We were sold. Upon arriving at home it took her a few weeks to come into her own since she just seemed to be focusing on getting as much love and attention from me as she could - literally she was more then my shadow she wanted to become a permanent fixture in my arms! She just seemed so happy to have a home and I think wanted to soak it in for awhile. After she realized that she always would be given unconditional love and always be constantly spoiled, I finally got to see the puppy come out in her. And watching her is such a joy, she has such a little personality! She can entertain herself for hours by rolling the ball back and forth to herself or has mastered fetch quickly with anyone who is willing to play. She desperately wants to be friends with our 2 cats, but they are just tolerating her for now. She definitely has a few puppy tendencies that we are working on improving, mainly just teaching her what is a toy and what is not (this pup will shred any paper in a 20 ft radius!). But she is very smart and I have no doubt will grow into an amazing dog. She couldn't be a more perfect addition to our family and am so grateful we were given the opportunity to adopt her!
