Adopted in January 2011

Hi:

I just wanted to send an update on Malmo (formerly known as Jessie). He is a seven-year-old Lab mix, adopted on January 19th. Malmo was very shy at the shelter, but as soon as I brought him home, it was like he’d always lived here. He is so sweet and friendly, and he’s completely trained--he surprised everyone by shaking hands with my sister when he first met her. I didn't even know that he knew "shake"--guess he wanted to show it off! Malmo is a big guy, but he must think he's much smaller, because he loves to jump right onto the closest lap and be cuddled. He’s even become buddies with my parents’ dog Barnaby, a fellow HSHV alum. Malmo is the perfect pal, walking buddy, and car/couch companion (and he's a very reliable alarm clock too!). He's so happy with his forever home--thanks for bringing us together!
