Finding Leif (previously Roman) was fate.
Finding Leif (previously Roman) was complete fate. We went to the Humane Society of Huron Valley just to experiment with my partner's allergies because we were discussing getting a cat and fell in love with him.
From the moment we got walked in our door it was like he knew he was home. He needed no time to adapt at all, he wanted to explore everything, and explore he did. I don't think there was a single part of our apartment he left un-sniffed. Once he settled down, he found a love for string, back rubs and kisses. He's not at all the shy boy he was when he came into HSHV, that's for sure.
Leif is a loving, adventurous and spunky boy who has his forever home, and we have a new family member.
