Ken (Now Mojo) Two Years Later

The best decision I've ever made was adopting my Mojo.

I wanted a dog of my own for a while and got serious about it a year or so after I broke up with my boyfriend. I looked and had a hold on two dogs (Violet and Baby) before I saw Ken. I decided what the heck, he's cute. I was talking to an employee when Ken climbed to the top of his crate and put his head on my arm. It was at this moment when I knew I had to play with him. He was the quietest dog of all time and was perfect. My mom and I walked around the shelter "Paws to Shop" area and discussed it. I decided that it was meant to be and I needed to claim him as mine. I went to the lady helping us (Jessica) and told her that I must have this dog. Since he was only at HSHV for a couple of days and still needed shots, my mom brought our dog to the shelter a couple days later to see how Ken would get along with him. A couple hours later, I received a text at work with a picture of Ken saying he is officially mine. It took three days, but I finally decided on a name that fit: Mojo. He is the best decision I have ever made and is definitely the determining factor as to who is allowed to date me! He's my baby, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. <3
