Class Service Project Helps Animals  Mrs. Peterson's 4th grade class at Bird Elementary For the month of February, Mrs. Peterson's class chose to direct their monthly service project donation to HSHV. These 4th graders are all very passionate about animals are were eager to help. An afternoon was spent busily making goodies for the homeless animals so that they may have a pleasant experience during their stay. Thanks to their hard work and caring, our shelter received 53 fleece blankets, 14 fleece cat toys, 1 bag of timothy hay, and over 65 hay tubes for our small mammals. Wow! Thank you so much, students of Mrs. Peterson's class. We are so fortunate to be chosen for such an amazing service project! |
