10-Year-Old gets 10 stars for Generosity  Sylvia When Sylvia turned 10, she celebrated with HSHV Party Animal style. She and her wonderful friends learned about what a humane society does, what animals need to be happy and healthy, and how to make some super fun toys and treats for our shelter animals. Upon their visit, Sylvia requested that her friends bring donations to give to our homeless animals as well. Our donation bin was soon piled high with food, treats, leashes, toys, and bedding. When Sylvia was asked why she was inspired to donate, she replied, “because the animals have needs and I have the ability to give.” We can all learn a thing or two from this wise 10 year old.
