Grateful Birthday Boy Gives Back  Luke The life of an animal can teach a beautiful lesson of gratitude. Luke learned this lesson from his grateful adopted pet, Bella. As he recalled, “Without the Humane Society of Huron Valley, we would not have gotten our cat, Bella. She may not have lived if there was no one to care for her and find her a home.” In order to give back to the shelter that saved his friend’s life, he collected donations instead of gifts for his 11th birthday. The HSHV graciously accepted gifts of much-needed kitty litter, dog treats, cat treats, cat food, cat toys, and dog food. Thank you for your kindness, Luke and happy birthday! |
