A Compassionate Birthday Wish Kiera Sometimes, what makes living worthwhile is living for others. In Keira’s case, asking for donations instead of gifts on her birthday made her special day even more worthwhile. “I decided to donate items to HSHV because I don’t need presents and some animals don’t even have homes,” Kiera explained. “I just want them to have great things while they wait for their forever home.” Some of the great things that Keira donated include: dog food, milk bone dog treats, cat treats, pipe cleaners, fabric markers, and a check made out to the animals.
